Rolyat Mosi is my pen name as I navigate the creative world of collective words aimed at the inside of the mind. I have recently been in the process of editing and revamping writings from yesteryear as I unfold new compositions along many of the content paths noted in my writing experience. I have had a wonderful time working with various community efforts requiring a writer’s support. These efforts have really pull me back from my business-related writing and expand my efforts in the creative compositions that I am now refining.

The book “Stories of a Son of Watts,” by the author Rolyat Mosi, gets into the writers personal historical stories with a focus on Black people from the Watts area of Southern California. The book is semi auto-biographical and collection of personal stories of growing up in the all-Black Watts area of Los Angeles, California. The book has several stories that narrate the lives of those migrating from the segregated south to living in the golden state of California during 1950s-1970s.

The book “Blackanauts, Black Astronauts” by the author Rolyat Mosi, explores the genre of Historical Astrospace Achievements with a focus on the contributions of Black people.The book described the stories of Black astronauts and their achievements in space science and explora-tions. it also provides a general commentary about Black People getting to space and the need for more opportunity for Blacks in the space industry. It is an educational, historical manuscript suitable for students of various levels and readers interested in Black achievements.

The book “The Sagas of the Buffalo Soldiers” by the author Rolyat Mosi, gets into the genre of the military historical stories with a focus on Black people. The book described the stories of Buffalo Soldiers in a collection of profiles and stories about the Black soldiers’ experiences in the segregated US Army. The book divided into stories about the lives of these Black men and women from the Plains’ Indian Wars through the Korean War period. There are commentaries on the Black soldiers during the segregated US Army and their achievements in the US Military. It is an educational, historical manuscript suitable for students of various levels and readers interested in Black achievements.
